Have you ever had a thought that bothered you, but you could not let go of it? It wasn’t a happy thought. It might be something that happened to you or you imagine it may happen. At any rate, the more you tried not to think this thought, the more it tightly wrapped around your mind and seeped into corners you didn’t even know existed.

Sometimes a person can gather a lot of negative thought due to illness, exhaustion, and/or stress. At those times, there does not seem to be any room for anything else; the situation has taken control of us and it is hard not to react.

Sadhguru tells us a very interesting story about a man who was said to never visit the toilet, to illustrate how we should handle mental turmoil!
