Per the “global business and news insights” edition of Quartz, a new survey of 53,000 children across 15 countries revealed that children tend to be happy regardless of the context of their lives. From Nepal to Norway, children between the ages of 10 and 12 say that they are largely satisfied with their lives. The report indicated that there were also no correlations between how happy the children were and how many material goods they possessed.

Children’s laughter is so natural, and if you have spent time playing with children, you know how their happiness can boost you. Most children live in the present, and even if they cry, get hurt, or are sad, they seem to move on to the next thing quicker than adults. Is meditation helpful for young children?
