Fear can occur as a reaction to realistically anticipated danger and is a survival instinct. For example, if you are walking in the forest and a bear is charging towards you, you would respond by feeling fear. This type of response is essential because it initiates a whole series of physical and behavioral changes that serve to protect us.

However, when we play out various scenarios mentally or exaggerate events that are not life-threatening, we can cause the same emotional and physical responses to occur within us. Our mind’s begun to persuade us that these thoughts and emotions are real, causing a loop of anxiety. How can we end this negative loop?

Sadhguru gives us four simple and effective tools that enable us to take charge of the mind, overcome anxiety, and make our journey of life effortless.
