For many of us, self-doubt creeps into our lives at one point or another. It can be a time when we question whether we are doing well enough or are capable of facing the situation that lies before us. We might doubt our decisions and the choices we made, or simply feel that we’re not good enough.

Self-doubt occurs when we lack confidence or feel incapable of doing the things we need to do. People who doubt themselves experience uncertainties concerning things they can’t control, or they worry about things not going according to plan. It seems negative, but is there another side to self-doubt?

Sadhguru explains why self-doubt is a great virtue, whereas confidence without clarity can be destructive.
