Most people associate yoga with physical postures. Often these physical postures are depicted by showing a person in a twisted pose that may seem difficult or prohibitive for the layman. Yet as more people choose to become and stay healthy, they are taking up the physical part of yoga as a daily practice and enjoying its many benefits.

There are many aspects of yoga, and it is not confined to maintaining or creating physical health. So, what really is yoga? How does practicing yoga create not only physical but also spiritual well-being? Is yoga a scientific method, or is it based on a belief system? How does practicing yoga enable us to experience the power of inclusion and blissfulness?

Sadhguru was at the UN Assembly Hall, Geneva, on June 27th, 2019, in conversation with Dr Soumya Swaminathan, Chief Scientist at the World Health Organization, and Francis Gurry, Director General of the World Intellectual Property Organization.
