When life is full of mostly routines, we start to look around for something that might break the cycle and offer some reprieve. It could be that you feel your daily activities are limiting your growth, leaving little room for happiness.

With COVID-19, our lives have changed in many ways. The usual method we employed to stir up our routines may not be available or may be currently quite limited. Shopping, hanging out with friends, and going on vacation may no longer be options. But if we look at it all closely, how long did those events keep us happy? Is there another choice?

The accessories in our lives, including body and mind, Sadhguru reminds us, are there to enhance life, not overshadow it. He explains that whatever is not “you” must be held in a certain way. Just like the difference between the nervousness of a neophyte bicycle rider and the ease of an experienced rider, he says that if you learn to loosen the grip, you will ride life well.
