How many times in any given day do you think about anything or anyone outside your immediate day-to-day small world? Most of us are instead engrossed in what occurs immediately around us. Our family, friends, job, and school can whisk us away within minutes. Drama is usually happening in one or more of these areas. How many people can say they are joyful more often than not?

This seems to be the state of mankind. How can we change this? How can we live a more conscious life? How can we connect with more than our daily events and ups and downs? How can we reconnect to what is essential?

Sadhguru reminds us that time is running out for all of us, and that what really matters at the end of our lives is whether we lived enhanced lives. This is why it is so important that we invest the time to know and live lives beyond our thoughts and emotions.
