It is 9:30 a.m., and the Physics high school teacher has prepared an awesome lesson. He has included an interactive segment in the hopes that he can engage his audience of teenagers. By 10:00 a.m., he starts to think he is losing their attention once again as the young group shifts from the lesson to cell phone checks, texting, and a bit of socializing.
Nothing seems to spark as much interest, especially in youth, as the topic of relationships. The media fills our world with these topics. It appears on the news, in movies, in books, and even in product advertisements. Who doesn’t love a good romance story with a happy ending? Why this obsession?
