Most psychologists believe that there is a strong body-mind relationship. However, they differ in their beliefs as to what extent the mind and the body influence one another. A clear-cut example: when a person is feeling ill, such as with a headache, the mind is barely able to function. But many times, the relationship between body and mind is subtle and difficult to pinpoint.
