Sheets, blankets, and pillows were scattered on the floor as the children prepared to make their tent. But, wait: it wasn’t going to become a tent; it was to be a palace. Their creativity knew no bounds as they laughed and had a very temporary fight as to what was to be placed where and how. Soon they settled within their makeshift palace and role-played their characters, believing their pretend play to be as real as any life situation.

Wanting to live our dreams is not exclusive to children. Adults want to create their own reality with equal desire. Many times, however, adults don’t or can’t follow through on their dreams. But what if we could create our own lives?

Sadhguru explains how the mind is capable of producing anything, be it pleasant or unpleasant. Rather than trying to handle negative emotions, it is better to stop producing them in the first place. With yoga and meditation practices, one can take charge of the mind and make it a miracle, rather than a misery manufacturer.
