The Bermuda Triangle is also known as the “Devil’s Triangle”, or “Hurricane Alley”. It is a region in the western part of the North Atlantic Ocean. In this loosely defined area, a number of aircraft and ships have, for reasons unknown, mysteriously disappeared.
The vicinity of the Bermuda Triangle is one of the most heavily traveled shipping areas in the world. Ships are frequently passing through it, traveling to ports in the Americas, Europe, and the Caribbean islands. Numerous cruise ships and privately- owned boats regularly sail through that area, along with the commercial and private aircraft that routinely fly through that airspace, almost all without incident or disappearance.
