Women were more physically active years ago. Today, many women are working in offices or other jobs that require little physical activity. Eating habits have also changed as women (and men) opt for more processed and convenience foods. Added to this is the stress caused by continual global news coverage of a tragic and disturbing nature that is so easily accessible today. Is it any wonder that women’s health has declined?
There has even been a decline in young girls’ health. This is a time when girls should be vibrant and beaming with life. Instead, many young girls are experiencing mental and physical health problems such as overweight issues, daily headaches, vacillating blood pressure, female-organ issues, depression, and anxiety.
