If you have ever watched young children, you will see that they run around most of the time joyfully and just seem happy to be alive. Sometimes they might cry or be sad, but usually they rebound quickly. They can become ecstatically engaged with simple things, like playing a game, going for a ride, or eating ice cream.

Everybody, – including adults – has been happy at one time or another, but rare is the person who can maintain a joyful state no matter what life throws their way. When you are joyful, doing anything seems easier.
