Logic is the study of reasoning or argumentation. Its purpose is to enable one to make valid deductions or cogent inferences from suppositions. It is intended to facilitate better decision-making. But does it? Can logic encompass all the variables that might pop up? Is logic the best way to live, or does it prevent an open mind and flexibility?
Remember Spock on Star Trek? He attempted to live life logically while preventing any emotions from his human side to cloud his decisions. Albeit a fictional character, it can remind us how we, too, might be living our lives through a cloudy lens. What then is the answer?
“Logic will filter out so much of your life, without which you cannot live,” Sadhguru says. He also indicates that human perception can be taken far beyond the limitations of logic.
