dont-plan-your-life-1

Life unfolds in the present. But, so often, we are caught up in the past, or dreaming about the future. Most aspects of modern life create mental fragmentation and distraction. Most of the time, when we are doing something, we are not focused; we are elsewhere immersed in our random thoughts and emotions.

During daily activity, such as when we’re at work, we often are thinking about being on vacation, at home or elsewhere. If we go on vacation, we start thinking about somewhere or something else. Our minds bombard us with intrusive memories of the past and we cling to them as it they are real. This can create frustration and fear where, in reality, there is none. This also carries over when we are with other people. Our thoughts and emotions capture our attention and we lose connections with those we cherish.

Sadhguru helps us understand what it means to live for the moment.
