Yoga is about attaining to absolute Balance, piercing Clarity, and an inexhaustible Exuberance. With this, you are immensely fit for life.”

Yogi, Mystic, Visionary and Founder of Isha Foundation

This International Day of Yoga, Isha Foundation offers you tools from the ancient science of yoga to enhance your health and overall wellbeing. Yoga is not a religion, philosophy, ideology or even a teaching. The word “Yoga” literally means “union,” and refers to an inner state where one experiences everything as a part of oneself. Sadhguru’s vision is to empower every human being to reach the peak of their potential, living joyfully and in harmony with all life around them. The sessions offered by Isha Foundation present a combination of simple but powerful yoga practices and meditations that bring lasting balance, stability and vitality to the system.

As a commitment to bring wellbeing to everyone, the sessions below will be offered to the community free of cost. From each session, take home a powerful practice that is easy to learn and can be incorporated into any lifestyle. These practices each take just 5-12 minutes daily.

Why daily practice?

Maintaining a daily yoga practice is like building a step-by-step ladder for your wellbeing; you will gradually start noticing the changes in your health and wellbeing, and in the way you experience your life and the world that you live in.

In the yogic tradition, it is recommended to maintain yoga practices every day for at least a mandala. A mandala is a period of 40 to 48 days in which the human system completes one physiological cycle. By practicing yoga for one mandala, you can firmly establish the yoga practice in your system and reap the benefits. Once you see the difference, the practice will naturally become a part of your life. Click here to read more about the significance of a mandala from Sadhguru.

Once you learn the practice, you can do it by yourself. If you need any support you can reach out to support.ishafoundation.org. This is a free, lifelong support offered by Isha Foundation.
